The wonderful thing about music (art) is that the meaning is always subjective... each listener will bring their own experience and create meaning they can relate to. There are multiple meanings, even for us.

This song is about learning to let go of personal control... struggling with yourself, your inner demons, your inner saboteur, not letting them win, but negotiating with them. When we let go, there is a release of energy that allows us to relax and evolve.
